ATARI LYNX

Atari Lynx 2 package
Here you can see all my LYNX stuff. The console [LYNX 2] with packaging and manual,
the lynx "pouch" (where's the packaging for that?), the little flask and all the
pink stuff is the "Naki Lynx cleaning kit", also there are two "empty" cartridges
on the photo. I'll explain that later...left is the comlynx cable which can be used to
connect up to 8 units to play together, and there is also the "Auto cigarette lighter adaptor"
which will enable you to play lynx while in a car without batteries in the console...
As you can see from the picture the lynx has -not like some other handhelds published recently-
a backlight, which you can switch off to save battery power. You can also flip the screen 90 degrees,
comes in handy for "lefty's" and the lynx is well known for it's zoom chip which produces
extraordinary special effects! Really a great handheld.

Lynx Eprom unit
So here is a clearer picture of the empty cartridges. They were not made or licensed by Atari.
You can put eproms in them to test your own programming skills, or of course you can dump games
on them if you have an eprom-burner...they fit quite good into the Lynx 2, Lynx 1 users will have
quite some problems to insert and remove that card...it's the same as used on T-Tris.
I have some of those cards lying around unused, mail me if you are interested!

Some people might find it strange that there are some games available that are played
while holding the Lynx console vertically, but it works believe me.
My current quick game top 5 (in no special order):
Klax - Desert Strike - Battlewheels - Super Skweek - Raiden
